SUZANNE KARKOSKA (Owner/Stylist)

Suzanne is the Owner of SSM and has over 13 years experience in the industry. She is a very driven entrepreneur and an extremely talented hair stylist. Her heart is very clearly in her work and she has a large clientele base whose loyalties have remained with her throughout the years to prove just that!

"I opened SSM because of my own personal dedication to offering the absolute highest level of customer satisfaction and the desire to take care of each and every client that walks into our salon. There isn't much that we won't do to ensure that your experience with us is an enjoyable one. At SSM we don't want you to come only once, but to think of going nowhere else again! It's all about the relationship and we want to build one with you in order to understand your needs to the best of our ability. We are here for you to make you look and feel great! PHUONG WADDELL (Stylist)
Phuong has over 7 years of experience, along with obtaining Toni and Guy training. She specializes in fine hair all the way to thick and curly hair. She loves exploring new looks for her clients and is never afraid of a challenge. She considers men/women's cuts and dimensional color her forte, however, she takes great pride in all aspects of hair styling.

DARBY WARNEKE (Stylist)
Darby received her training from the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill and her specialties are, but not limited to; all over color, dimensional color, graduated bobs, men & women's hair cuts, and evening styles. She enjoys helping clients look and feel their very best with every visit.

TINA CHASON (Stylist)
Tina comes to us with over 20 years experience. She specializes in men, women, & children's hair cuts, color, and styling with advanced skills in make-up consultation along with a passion for giving clients the perfect up-do for any special occasion.  Tina is happily married to her husband, Rob, for 17 years and counting and is the mother of 3 beautiful daughters.  She spends her time voluntering in her children's classes, singing in her church's band and attending her girls' various sporting events. She brings an array of talent to SSM and we are very excited to have her as a part of our team.

ALICIA WEYER (Stylist)
We are thrilled to have Alicia as part of our team. She recently relocated from Minnesota and is looking forward to meeting and assisting clients with their hair care needs.  She specializes in men and women’s haircuts but enjoys performing every service provided.  She is very excited about building a clientele that will be able to rely and trust in her to create a perfect hairstyle based on individual wants, facial shape, and lifestyle.

Deevender (DeeDee) Bourne (Stylist)

Blessed with artistic abilities and demonstrating a knack for color identification and blending. Deevender, or DeeDee, as we know her is a natural when it comes to dimensional and solid coloring as well as many unique styles in cutting ranging from contemporary to abstract. She completed her training at the Aveda Institute and followed that up with a Color & Cutting Certification from Redken. DeeDee has melded the color and cut process to encompass a broad spectrum of styles and designs.

MJ Strohbusch (Stylist)

Mj has been a stylist for over 20 years, specializing in creative cutting techniques with strength in men’s cuts.  She loves working in the salon and making people look their very best.  Mj has been married for 12 years to her husband, Joe, and has two wonderful boys, Thomas (8) and James (6).  She enjoys working and spending time with her family and friends.
